Information we collect

We collect the business name and location you search, the exact listing you select, your email address, account and authentication records, purchase status and identifiers, saved reports and campaign requests, and messages you send us. We also receive basic request, device, security, and site-use data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and event timestamps. We do not request your device's precise location.

Payments

Stripe processes the $89 one-time report payment and provides us with transaction status, amount, purchaser email, and payment and checkout identifiers. Stripe collects the payment credentials. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Business research sources

Google Places is used to find and revalidate the exact public business listing and discover selected competitors. The U.S. Census provides public local market data. For a free preview or paid report, Outscraper may collect public review and listing evidence, and we may read selected competitors' public websites directly. Apify may collect public advertising evidence for a paid report. These services receive the business identifiers, search terms, domains, or public page references needed for the requested research. We do not send them your payment credentials.

Report synthesis

Preview or report evidence and the business context you provide may be processed by OpenAI when automated synthesis is used. Paid report evidence may also be reviewed and synthesized manually in an operator-controlled Anthropic Claude workspace. The synthesis material can include public business facts, source excerpts, market statistics, and research instructions. We do not intentionally include full payment card data, passwords, or secret account credentials in that material.

How we use information

We use information to match the correct business, create the free preview and deliver the report, operate and recover your workspace, process and reconcile payment, send transactional email, answer support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, and understand whether the site and purchase flow work.

Service providers

Supabase provides account authentication and database storage. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, request handling, and site analytics. GitHub runs private preview-research and fulfillment workflows and keeps manual synthesis packets as private workflow artifacts for up to three days. Stripe processes payments. Resend sends transactional email. Google Places, the U.S. Census, Outscraper, Apify, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI support the research and synthesis activities described above. These providers process information under their own terms and policies or on our behalf, depending on the service.

Google Maps privacy

NicheRadar uses Google Maps features and content for exact business identification. Google receives the listing query and related technical request data needed to provide those features. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the Google Maps features and content is also subject to the current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Disclosure and sale

We disclose information to the providers above only as needed to operate the service, and when required to comply with law, protect the service or its users, or complete a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or use report and account data to build third-party advertising profiles.

Retention and deletion

We keep account, order, report, email, and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to deliver and recover the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Retention periods differ by record and provider. Email hello@nicheradar.ai to request access, correction, or deletion. We may verify the request and retain records when required for those purposes or by law.

Security

We use access controls and service safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
